Slow Burning Daydream came into existence in 2018 in Atlanta GA as the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Elijah Senter. After a handful of releases and lineups, he moved to Philadelphia PA in late 2022 and fleshed out the lineup for real. Having met Brent Mackesey and Trent Huber, he swiftly recruited them both to his band. Having known JD from another band, soon he too joined this new amalgamation. This lineup played its first show in New Paltz NY in December 2022.
After recording an EP with the band titled 'If Magic Weren't the Enemy,' Brent left the band in April 2024 to focus on school. He was replaced by Catharine Daubert, who has contributed to all subsequent recordings.
